About this Pattern

If you’re looking for a relaxing project with lots of color, texture, and uniqueness, you’re in the right place. Our Baby Waves Crochet Baby Blanket is the perfect blend of mindless crochet with a little bit of fun at the end.

With this project, you’ll get lots of practice with a variant of the crochet “V” stitch pattern and you can try your hand at creating a beautiful color palette to make the stitch really pop. Then, at the end of the project, I’ll show you how to crochet a really neat wave border, a skill you can bring to future projects.

Before you begin, review this page entirely so you understand the full scope of the project. We prepared a list of recommended supplies and abbreviations you’ll need to get started, a video tutorial and, of course, written instructions to walk you through our Baby Waves Crochet Baby Blanket step-by-step.
