Winter is here!
It’s safe to say that most of us are crocheting this time of year. Whether it be gifts, holiday decorations or just cozy crochet wear, we all have one (or six) projects on our hooks!
If you’re looking for your next holiday or winter-inspired crochet project, I have a few suggestions for you. I’ve had the privilege of sharing dozens of FREE crochet patterns with you since B.hooked Crochet was born more than four years ago. Over time, these amazing designs get lost in the archives. It’s a shame to let these beauties be forgotten, so here they are in the spot light again!
Here are 10 of my absolute favorite winter crochet projects.
This lil guy is without a doubt, my cutest creation. He’s works up in just a few short evenings making it a great holiday gift. You can even use him as holiday decor!
The Granny Stripe Shawl is a viewer favorite. Use Red Heart Boutique Treasure yarn in one of the many gorgeous colorways and you have one amazing shawl or cowl. It’s warm, cozy and trendy. Win, win!
This is another viewer favorite. Many thousands of people have viewed this tutorial and made themselves or a friend a headband using the unique woven stitch. If you haven’t made this one already, you should!
Okay, I’ll confess. I’m a little obsessed with the woven stitch. Here it is featured in a cozy pair of mittens! The techniques used to construct these mittens is pretty amazing. It’s so much easier than you might imagine. Give it a try!
How fun is it to have matching elf hats for your entire family?! These would be great for holiday photos or just to have a little fun on Christmas morning for those who celebrate. Pattern comes in six different sizes!
You can do so much with these crochet snowflakes. I’ve used them as ornaments and gift decorations and they turned out beautifully. The best part, they work up in less than thirty minutes!

Crochet stockings are the perfect addition to your holiday decor. Crochet them for your family and your friends. They have become a treasured heirloom in my family!
The Urban Broomstick Lace Slouchy hat is the perfect companion to the Broomstick Lace Infinity Scarf. They work up quick, making them perfect for gifts.
The Skyscraper Cowl is a real show stopper because of Isaac Mizrahi Skyscraper yarn. Work it up in one of the many colorways and keep it for yourself or give it as a gift.
The name says it all, it’s the perfect spiral oranament! Crochet up a handful of these and decorate your tree or your gifts. You only need scraps of yarn and about 10 minutes to make each one!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this edition of holiday round ups here on B.hooked Crochet. A great deal of time and effort goes into each and every pattern, tutorial and blog post. I sure hate to see them buried in the archives!
Stay tuned for a month full of more new patterns and a special crochet challenge announcement as we celebrate “Crochet for a Cause” month in December 2016. I have a lot of amazing things in the works for you.
Until then, happy hooking!
