Can you believe it’s already April?! I love this time of year because I get to exchange my fluffy warm yarn for something a bit more sleek and cool. I love to crochet in the summer months and my project choice usually reflects the weather.
I know many people put there hooks down when it gets warm and that makes me so sad! I realize that outdoor activity schedules, vacations and every thing in between limit our crochet time. But there are still rainy days, right?
I’m here (along with Yarnspirations) to inspire you to not put your hooks down in the spring and summer. Instead, let’s crochet some really cute things for our home!
The April Look Book: Spring Refresh
The Spring Refresh Look Book and collection of patterns officially launched yesterday. I spent a great deal of time yesterday evening flipping through its pages and planning the projects I want to create from it. The new patterns are good guys, real good. Have a look for yourself!
Just click (or tap) on that link above to see all fifty pages of spring freshness that awaits. This months patterns range from an amigurumi catus to dish cloths and everything in between. You’ll find 12 free patterns for the items you see above as well as others that aren’t pictured above!
If you’d like to go straight to the patterns and bypass the inspiration in the Look Book, you can view all the new Yarnspirations patterns this month right here:
My Favorite Patterns
It’s difficult to narrow down my favorite patterns from the spring refresh look book, but here goes.
These are just the cutest things ever! I can’t say I’m really great at keeping plants alive, so a crochet cactus is perfect! You can get the pattern HERE if you want to make one too.
I have wanted to make a crochet rug for way too long. I have the cotton in my stash – I just need to do it! I find a lot of motivation with this citrusy pattern. It’s definitely cute as is but there are many other color possibilities too! If you want to make one too, HERE is the pattern.
If you haven’t done so already, take a few minutes to flip through the virtual pages of the March Look Book from Yarnspirations. That link again is:
When you see a project you like and might try out yourself, tell me in the comments section below. I’d love to hear what you’re going to make! If you need any help, please let me know. That’s what I’m here for.
