I’m really excited about my latest tutorial, the Boho Bunting from Yarnspirations! This pattern is brand new from their “Outdoor Living” look book and it looks fabulous draped around an outdoor living space.
I see it as so many other things! The first thing that comes to mind – birthday party decorations! This boho bunting works up surprisingly fast and uses Caron Simply Soft yarn – which is available in over 100 colors. You’re only limited by your ability to decide on the color scheme!
In addition to birthday party decorations, I also see the boho bunting as a perfect nursery decoration or baby shower banner. For those of you who attend and sell at craft fairs, wouldn’t this look amazing draped on the back wall of your booth?!
Okay now that you know how versatile and good this pattern is, let’s get down to business.
The boho bunting is made up of 56 granny triangles with darling pom accents. Each triangle is stitched together with a contrast color that also provides a framework for hanging it.
You’ll use up to nine different colors to crochet eight different variants of the same triangle pattern. Once you learn how to crochet the triangle, you’re set. Piece of cake. It will likely be harder to decide on only nine colors from Yarnspirations wide variety of Caron Simply Soft Yarn.
If you want to make your own Boho Bunting, here’s what you’ll need to do:
