I recently had a viewer request to do a video tutorial for a traditional granny triangle shawl. What a great idea! I love the flexibility of this design. You can make it whatever size suits your needs. Make it to fit your little girl or your grandmother! This versatile shawl can also be used to wrap around the neck for a lacy cowl as shown above. I like this look the best!
Here it is worn as a traditional shawl
For my shawl, I used Red Heart Boutique Treasure yarn in the colorway Portrait. I used approximately 2 1/2 skeins and my finished shawl fits a small adult.
This yarn has recently been discontinued so I recommend using Red Heart Evermore for your shawl as a substitute!
