Pattern Notes

The crochet heart stitch is one of my favorite new patterns. Not just because it’s almost Valentine’s day but because it is so versatile! I recently published the Crochet Heart Stitch to B.hooked Crochet’s Stitch Dictionary. I have included the written instructions as well as a video tutorial to help you master this fun stitch. I also like to provide you with a free pattern using each stitch in the stitch dictionary to get you started, so with that, here is the fun little project using the crochet heart stitch!

The Heart-to-Heart Cup Cozy is a quick and easy Valentine’s Day project. This isn’t your average cup cozy; the use of the unique heart stitch gives it a fun and unique design, making it perfect for your sweetheart or valentine.

This crochet heart cup cozy is crocheted in the round using the crochet heart stitch. If you are having trouble following the written instructions, you may want to take a look at my video tutorial for the crochet heart stitch.

You will need 3 different colors of worsted weight (#4) yarn for this pattern. I have chosen to use Hobby Lobby I Love This Cotton because I prefer to use cotton for cup cozies. You may substitute any worsted weight yarn for this pattern.

Color Key:
