Pattern Notes

The larksfoot stitch throw pillow is worked in two separate pieces, front and back, in rows. You will want to pay extra attention to your tension for each piece. You tension should be consistent for both pieces to make sure the sides match up for a trouble-free joining process.

Two rows complete a color pattern repeat. We’ll be changing colors every two rows.

This pattern is for a decorative pillow. Once the crochet cover has been added to the pillow form, it can not be removed.

Assembly

Lay the front and back panel evenly on top of one another.

[alert-note]Tip! The larksfoot stitch looks slightly different on each side. Choose the side you like best and make sure that side is facing out when you lay your two pieces together to sew it up.[/alert-note]

Using your darning needle and color A, sew up the bottom (I used a whip stitch). Now sew up one side, and across the top.

Insert the pillow form and sew up the last side. Weave in all your ends and admire!

Don’t forget to share your projects with me. I can’t wait to see how you all use this pattern!
