I stumbled upon some of the most beautiful yarn the other day – Collage – and I had to sink my hooks into it! I teamed up with my friends at Red Heart to bring you a tutorial for their free pattern, the Snuggle Up Scarf using Collage yarn.
It was difficult to decide on a colorway because all eight of them whispered in my ear! After much deliberation, I decided that “Circus” was the perfect choice for my new scarf. It shows off the texture of the yarn beautifully and it just makes me happy to look at!
Collage is a brand new yarn by Red Heart and I know you’re going to love it! Judging by the huge response on Instagram, my teaser posts have confirmed my suspicions – You’re going to love it!
Collage is available at most yarn retailers as well as on Red Heart’s Website. If you have a minute, check out the other colorways available at the link below – you’ll see why it was so hard for me to pick just one color!
Once you’ve decided on one for your Snuggle Up Scarf (or two?!) Get ready for a super quick project!
You’ll need 5 balls of Collage yarn to make your crochet scarf and, honestly, only a few hours of crochet time. You’ll learn how to work a beautiful shell stitch pattern, work with a brand new yarn that’s hot on the market and have a gorgeous and cozy crochet scarf on the other side. What are you waiting for?
If you want to make your own Snuggle Up Scar, here’s what you’ll need to do:
- Download the free pattern from Red Heart
- Purchase your supplies as specified on the instructions. Red Heart Collage is available in some retail locations as well as from RedHeart.com.
- Watch my video tutorial to guide you through it
