Pattern Notes

For assistance with the knit stitch, have a look at my video demonstrating how to knit the garter stitch (which looks stockinette when knitting in the round):

CO 85. Join to work in the round.

Round 1: K every stitch.

Rep round 1 until your cowl measures 11″ long when laying flat. This should use one skein of yarn. Simple bind off and weave in your ends. The rolling effect adds to this design, however, if you would like to decrease the amount of roll on the top and bottom edges, I recommend wet blocking your cowl.
