Which colors will you use?

Patons Grace is available in 19 different shades. Think of the possibilities! I think I’m going through a gray and pink phase so blush and clay was a no-brainer for me. I’d love to know which colors you’ll use for this pattern. Tell me in the comments below!

Pattern Notes

crochet pullover

This summery crochet pullover is worked in three separate panels that are later stitched together to form a top that pulls over the head. It has a loose drape, perfect for hot summer days when you still want to look elegant. Patons Grace is the perfect yarn for this project because it is lightweight and incredibly soft.

I recommend that you work the half double crochet repeat for each of the three panels before moving on to the lace sections. You will do a little shaping for the bust on the front panels in a similar but opposite stitch pattern. Refer to the video tutorial for an overview of the techniques needed to make this crochet pullover.

Assembly

With right side facing up, lay back panel flat. Lay each front panel, right side down on the back panel with your neck line stitch markers oriented in the center.

Seam the sides

Fasten on color A in the bottom corner of the hdc section and slst in the side of every row, stopping at your arm hole stitch marker. Rep on other side (note that orientation will be flipped so you will start seaming at the arm hole stitch marker).

Seam the shoulders

For the shoulders, measure 3(4)” from outside edge to center and place a stitch marker there. Fasten on color B in the top corner of the lace section and slst to your stitch marker. On opposite shoulder, fasten on at shoulder stitch marker and slst to edge.

Seam the front

With pullover right side in, align the center line. Fasten on color A in the bottom corner and slst in the side of every row, stopping at the lace section. Fasten off color A. Fasten on color B at the start of the lace section and continue to slst in the side of every row to the edge. Fasten off color B.
