Gather Your Supplies…

For this project we’ll use Red Heart Scrubby Sparkle yarn. It’s perfect for a shimmery crochet shamrock! Unlike most yarns that are “fuzzy” Scrubby Sparkle is quite easy to work with. The “shimmers” are a little see through so you can see your stitches quite easily.

With one skein of Scrubby Sparkle, you can make several shamrocks!

Pattern Notes

This crochet shamrock consists of two rounds. The first round will act as the foundation for each leaf and in the second round you’ll fill it in.

Add a sparkling crochet shamrock to hats, headbands, purses…you name it! You can also string a chain through it to wear it as a necklace or add some earring hoops for a cute pair of St. Patrick’s day earrings.

If you need a little more guidance, have a look at the tutorial for a similar pattern I created, a crochet four leaf clover. It is crocheted in the same way with the only difference in the number of leaves!
