Crochet Blogging – A Real Life Story | The BHooked Podcast Episode 110

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a crochet blogger?

Maybe it’s your goal to start a crochet blog but you’re just not sure if it’s right for you.

Starting a crochet blog is the best thing I have ever did. It gives me purpose, keeps me on my toes and provides a creative outlet for my endless ideas. That’s a common theme with this week’s guest, Meg, from Megmade With Love.

Meg started a crochet blog not long ago and she shares her story today on the show. The successes, the failures, the lessons – sit back with a cup of your favorite warm drink and hear the real life story of a crochet blogger.

  • Hi Brittany! I loved this episode just like I love all of your podcast episodes. This was one of my favorites because it really resonates with me. I loved hearing from another stay at home mom about how she runs her business. Seeing how popular she has become gives me hope that I could someday be there!

I’ve been crochet blogger for a few years now. I’m a stay at home mom to my 4 year old and I’m pregnant with my second. It is SO hard to schedule, multitask, and be consistent but I’ve tried to be less hard on myself this year. My mindset changed when I heard a quote through another podcast. I don’t remember it exactly but it was along the lines of, “Enjoy the journey instead of stressing/overwhelming yourself with the end result.” And also to never compare your beginning to someone else’s middle. My two favorite quotes.

Anyway! Over the years I’ve wandered aimlessly trying to figure out who I am as a blogger and although my branding isn’t there yet, I think I’ve finally found my calling. Thank you again for everything you do! Your blog and podcast has been my motivation and inspiration.

    With love,

    • Hi Sigoni, so wonderful to meet you here! I absolutely love that quote as well – we must be listening to the same podcast because I heard that one on a podcast as well! It sounds like you have found a great path and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes you 🙂

  • Loved this episode on the podcast Brittany! I really enjoyed hearing about Meg Made With Love crochet/blogger journey, I’m a new crochet blogger and so this episode was super insightful. Thank you so much for this podcast – Love it!

  • Seriously this may be my favorite show yet, Brittany! Thank you so much for providing such valuable content on a regular basis! I am a crochet blogger as well and love hearing from others, how they started, and where they are heading!! I loved Meg’s candidness and letting us look behind the curtain so to speak!

    • Hi Elise! I’m so happy you enjoyed this episode. It was a little different than the usual show and I absolutely love it as well. I’ll definitely have to do a few more of these 🙂
