**Puff Stitch (Ps): [YO and insert hook in designated stitch. YO and pull up a loop] 4 times. YO and pull through all 9 loops on your hook. Ch 1.

This flower is worked in four rounds that build on one another to achieve the layered 3D look.
This pattern uses puff stitches. There are different ways to work this stitch to determine different thicknesses. Please refer to the stitch description for instructions of the puff stitch for this pattern.

Round 1: Ch 2. 8 hdc in first ch. Join with a slst to the FLO of the first hdc.
Round 2: Ps in the FLO of each hdc. Join with a slst to the top two loops of the first Ps. Flip the work over and locate the back loop (from round 1) at the base of your second Ps (Minute Mark 2:08). Slst there. (8 Ps)
Round 3: [Ch 4. Slst to next BLO (from round 1)] 6 times. Ch 4 and join with a slst to the slst from the last step of round 2.
Round 4: [In next ch-4 space (sc, hdc, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc, hdc, sc)] 7 times. Join with a slst to first sc of this round.
Fasten off and finger block your flower to open up the puff stitches in the center. Work tail to the center of flower with a yarn needle and use that to secure it to your project.
